MARY LOU VILSKIMary Lou Vilski 79 a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home for the past 3years,died Thursday, March 16,2006 at the nursing home. She was born on January 24,1927 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Jacob and Hattie Hoffman Wettstein. On May 17,1947 she married William H. Vilski at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Walter preceded her in death on December 5,1987. Mary Lou was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School Class of 1945. She was employed as a secretary and bookkeeper at Borden's in Milwaukee, Canvas Products, Elliott's and Berger's and Chatterton Pharmacy all of Fond du Lac. She was a life-long member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and at one time sang in the church choir. Mary Lou was a former member of the Democratic Party serving in various offices and was Fond du Lac City Poll worker. Mary Lou enjoyed politics, playing sheepshead, and was an avid reader. She also was a fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers and enjoyed watching legion baseball as well as the Fond du Lac Panther's. SURVIVORS: son, William (Marguerite) Vilski, Lomira, daughter ,Vonni (Donald) Dunn, Fond du Lac, four grandchildren, Timothy (Beth) Vilski, Cincinnati, OH, Shannon (Donald) Whitenight, Hartford, Kelly Vilski, Milwaukee, Justin (fiance Veronica Ide) Vilski, Lomira, a step-grandson, Daniel (Lucille) Dunn, Denver, CO, two great-grandchildren, Miriam Whitenight and Marcus Vilski, three step-great-grandchildren, Lisa, Priscilla, and Donna, one sister, Janice (Jerome) Wendell, Fond du Lac. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Leonard Wettstein, three sisters, Leona Braley, Anna Wettstein, Mae Koch, Loraine DeRusha



VISITATION: Monday, March 20,2006, from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held, Monday, March 20,2006 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Reverend Jon Cox will officiate and burial will follow at Rienzi Cemetery.Memorials appreciated to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
