Mary M. "Marg" Wempner

Mary M. "Marg" Wempner, age 70 of 215 South Royal Avenue, died Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at her residence after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. She was born in Fond du Lac on March 25, 1937 the daughter of Gerald and Hazel Smith Flaherty. On June 14, 1958 she married James C. Wempner at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mary was employed with US Bank prior to and after raising her children. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church and volunteered at the church. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, bowling, reading, puzzles, bird watching and spending time at her cottage in Wautoma. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.Mary is survived by her husband, James C. Wempner, Fond du Lac, five children, James (Lisa) Wempner, Fond du Lac, Steve (Cindy) Wempner, Madison, Christine (Tony) Fleischman, Kewaskum, Dan (Amy) Wempner, New Holstein, Brian (Staci) Wempner, Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel, Alexandria, Jenelle, and Casey Wempner, Danielle and Adam Fleischman. Mary is further survived by her three brothers, Robert (Jane) Flaherty, Fond du Lac, James Flaherty, Fond du Lac, and John Flaherty, Fond du Lac, one sister, Geri (David) Reitz, Fond du Lac, a brother-in-law, David (Donna) Wempner, Fond du Lac, four sister-in-laws, Dorothy Nehls, Fond du Lac, Betty (Glen) Grater, Fond du Lac, Joan (David) Plowden, Titusville, FL, Mary T. Wempner, Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, a special friend, Barbara Caves, Fond du Lac. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Don Wempner, sister-in-law, Kyle Flaherty.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 10, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Liturgy of The Word Service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Reverend James Jaeger officiating. Cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Hospice Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Additional information and guestbook may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
