MARY "MOLLY" A. PUTZMary "Molly" A. Putz, 84, 390 Grove Street, Fond du Lac, died Friday, April 20, 2007 surrounded by her family at Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac. She was born on March 5, 1923 in Preston, England, the daughter of William and Elizabeth McGrath Johnson. On April 5, 1944 she married Edward L. Putz in Preston, England and he preceded her in death on August 21, 1989. Molly was a charter member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. She worked for Giddings & Lewis retiring in 1988. Molly enjoyed gardening, knitting, bird watching, bus trips to the casino and was an avid Packer fan. SURVIVORS: three daughters, Christine (Dale) Volbright, Oakfield, Darlene (Mark) Steinpreis, Carlsbad, NM, Victoria (John) Kempf, Fond du Lac; one son, Michael Putz, Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Cheryl (Pat) Tobin, Brian (Krystal) Volbright, Shannon (Dan) Retzlaff, Krystopher Volp, Stephanie (Mack) Cooper, Kevin Winkenwerder, Brigette and Kaitlynn Steinpreis, Julie (Nathan) Belden, Joseph Kempf, and Matthew Putz; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Virginia Putz, Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Edna Putz; a brother, William; a brother-in-law, Lloyd Putz.



VISITATION: will be from 9 "“ 11 AM on Monday, April 23, 2007 at Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday, at Sacred Heart with Rev. Patrick Heppe officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Chapel of the Risen Christ. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Hospice Home of Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
