Mary P. Vanderboom

Mary P. Vanderboom, 85, of 1602 Minnesota Avenue, North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Grancare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born the daughter of Fredrick and Emma Cook Klingele on March 15, 1921 in Highland, Wisconsin, Iowa County. In 1942 she married Roy Konietzka in South Dakota and he preceded her in death in 1944 while serving in World War II. On July 12, 1947 she married Paul W. Vanderboom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and he preceded her in death in June 1980. Born in Iowa County, Mary later moved to Milwaukee until 1956 when she became a North Fond du Lac resident. She was a member of Presentation Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac since 1956. SURVIVORS: one daughter, Patricia (Greg) Wilkum, Fond du Lac; one son, Daniel (Pamela) Vanderboom, North Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Shirley Schilling, Montello, Wisconsin and Joyce Sabyljack, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Roy and Paul, and two sons, Paul and James.



VISITATION: will be held Monday, August 7, 2006 from 10 "“ 11 AM at Presentation Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday at Presentation Catholic Church with Rev. Edward Sippel officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
