Mary Francis Riley

Mary Francis Riley age, 76, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1947, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Donald Riley Sr. and Adelaide (Raiche) Riley. Mary moved to Colorado in 1971 and managed Zadel’s Bowling Alley and Restaurant for 40 years. She also was caregiver for Frank and Edith Suckla until she relocated to Fond du Lac in 2011. 

Throughout her life Mary loved music, dancing, and her pets especially Brownie, Angel Baby, and CeCe. She was a very devoted “Aunt Moe” to her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 

She is survived by 3 brothers, Donald (Judy) Riley of Fond du Lac, Gerald (Doris) Riley of Fond du Lac, and James (Marianne) Riley of South Carolina; 2 sisters, Kathleen (Dale) Crouch of Fond du Lac, Sue (Vince) Matassa of California; sister-in-law, Linda (Ken) Riley of Oregon; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth; brother-in-law, Dale Crouch. 

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date. Mary will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
