Mary S. Resop

Mary S. "Sue" Resop, 51, of 18 S. Butler Street, Fond du Lac, died Monday, March 31, 2008 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born the daughter of Lloyd J. and Evelyn M. Giese Bauer on November 21, 1956 in Janesville. On May 26, 1979 she married Robert J. Resop in Fond du Lac. She was a member of Church of Peace, Fond du Lac. Sue worked for Alliance Laundry in Ripon for many years. She belonged to the Ladies Pool League. She enjoyed working outside, reading and especially spending time with her granddaughter. Sue will be remembered for her sense of humor and her laugh.SURVIVORS: her husband, Bob Resop; three children, James Resop, Jennifer (Tidale Hibbler) Resop, Jacob Resop, all of Fond du Lac; one granddaughter, Tyriana Hibbler; four sisters, Bonnie (Bob) Weisenburger, White Bear Lake, MN, Chris (Mike) Christus, Carmichael, CA, Patty Bauer, Tallahassee, FL, Kathy Bauer, Fond du Lac; three brothers, Jim Bauer, Fond du Lac, Ron (Jane) Bauer, Janesville, Bob (Mary) Bauer, Shakopee, MN. She is further survived by her father and mother-in-law, Robert (Bernice) Resop, Fond du Lac; four sisters-in-law, Brenda (Ron Roehl) Coburn, Fond du Lac, Barbara (Elmer) Ditter, Mt. Calvary, Betty Resop, Whitewater, Bonnie (Randy) Stafford, Fond du Lac; two brothers-in-law, Richard Resop, Fond du Lac, Randall (special friend, Brian Beyer) Resop, Fond du Lac; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.



VISITATION: will be from 3 "“ 7 PM on Friday, April 4, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Weisenburger officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
