Maureen R. Baeten, age 65, of Redgranite, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011 with her beloved husband by her side. Maureen was born on March 8, 1945 in Milwaukee, daughter of Clarence and Ruth (Altenburg) Cummings. She married John F. Baeten on August 20, 1964. Maureen was a homemaker, owned and operated a veal farm, ran a dog kennel, operated Hands On Cleaning Service, Country Side Ceramics, and Main Street Ceramics and Crafts. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, working on her family tree and spending time with her family and friends. SURVIVORS: Maureen is survived by her husband of 46 years John F. Baeten Sr., children Maria (Bryon) Johnson, Escanaba, MI, John (Donna) Baeten Jr., Jerry Baeten of Fond du Lac, Ronald (Cherie)Baeten, Brillion, Tina Marie Sterr (special friend Carl Boeck) of Redgranite, step-daughter Kim McGee, 13 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great grandson, and she was looking forward to meeting her first Great Granddaughter 'Kendall Maureen' due in spring. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Marlene (Allen) Flemming, Michael, Carl, Darlene, Natalene ,and Nadene Cummings, Colleen (Rick) Ensign , brothers-in-law Clayton Baeten and James (Carol) Baeten, sister-in-law Rita (Jack) Marizahl, a very special friend Patricia Matty Geshke, many nieces, nephews, all the neighborhood children that called her "Mom" or "Grandma", and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step- mother Delores Cummings, sisters Kathleen Kerber, Charlene Cummings, Connie Bartholemew, brothers and sisters-in-law Robert, Melvin, and Edward Baeten, Agnes Ganzyk, Leona Merkel, and Gene Kerber.



MEMORIAL SERVICES: Friends may call on January 16, 2011 from 1- 3PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3 PM with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating.
