Maynard I. Hebert I, 67, of 160 E. Merrill Avenue, died Sunday, June 6, 2004, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born January 12, 1937, in Ladysmith, WI, a son of Glenn and Helen Barnes Hebert. On November 28, 1986, he married Rosemary Brown in Fond du Lac. Mr. Hebert graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree and was a substitute teacher for Joint School District #1 and St. Mary's Springs. He was a former carrier for The Reporter.Surviving is his wife, Rosemary, a daughter, Christine (David) Lefeber of Fond du Lac, five sons, SFC Michael (Renate) Hebert of Fort Hood, TX, Stephen (Special Friend, Tammy Marino) Hebert of Fond du Lac, David Hebert of Redgranite, Maynard (Debbie) Hebert II and T.J. (Special Friend, Theresa Ruh) Hebert all of Fond du Lac, a step-son, Henry (Char) Manderscheid of Fond du Lac, a step-daughter, Tina Manderscheid of Fond du Lac, 17 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, a foster daughter, Linda (Pat) Gustin of Gleason, WI, a foster son Butch Curtis of Wausau, 6 foster grandchildren, and 2 foster great-grandchildren. He is further survived by four brothers, Bernard (Phyllis) Hebert of Las Vegas, Leo (Edna) Hebert of Louisiana, Ronald (Dolly) Hebert of Holly Hill, FL, and Jerold (Sharon) Hebert of Oshkosh, and three sisters, twin sister Margaret (Eugene) Kraus of Fond du Lac, Edith Glenn Bleichwehl of Oshkosh, and Dorothy (Irv) Schmick of Markesan, and two sisters-in-law, Mary Seal and Anne Hebert, both of Fond du Lac. His parents, and infant daughter, Denni Marie, three brothers, Ed Seal, Donald Hebert, and Loren "Joe" Hebert, a sister, Dolly Bryan, two brothers-in-law, Ron Vstaszewski, and Ralph Bleichwehl, and a sister-in-law, Judy Hebert, preceded him in death.
Visitation for Mr. Maynard I. Hebert I will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, from 4 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. The Rev. David Lieske will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
