Michael J. "Mike The Painter" Bleichner

Michael J. "Mike The Painter" Bleichner, age 53 of 563 West Scott Street, died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at his residence. He was born March 11, 1955 in Corning, New York the son of Edward Bleichner and Carol Brinkman. On July 28, 1990 he married Kathleen A. Barrows in Racine. He was a graduate of Racine Horlick High School. He served as a medic in the Vietnam War. He received his associate degree in Fluid Maintanance from Gateway Technical College, Kenosha. Mike was a self-employed painter. He was a member of the Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie No. 270, where he played dart ball. Mike enjoyed playing pool, hunting, golfing and fishing.Michael is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen A. Bleichner, Fond du Lac, three children, Miranda (Manuel Talamantez) Bleichner, Racine, Jason Judd, Racine, Sonny Bleichner, Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, Manuel, Mariano, Mauricio, Justina, Sabrina, and Ciara. He is further survived by seven brothers and sisters, Guy (Peggy) Bleichner, Racine, Steve (Katie) Bleichner, Racine, Tom Bleichner, Crivitz, Jenny Sullivan, of Springdale, AR, Terri (Jeff) Slaasted, Racine, Suzie Weisbrod and Mary Vazquez of Appleton, WI and his mother, Carol Bleichner, Appleton, mother-in-law, Bernice Barrows, Fond du Lac; many nieces and nephews. His father, Edward Bleichner, and father-in-law, Guy Barrows, preceded Michael in death.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Thursday, September, 18, 2008 at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. SERVICES: Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Deacon Paul Monzel will officiate. Cremation has taken place.UECKER-WITT FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS
