Michael O. Bell, 56, of Fond du Lac and Fountain City, Arizona, entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at La Estancia Rehab Center in Phoenix, AZ. Mike was born February 15, 1962 in Waupun, WI, the son of Jack and Ellen Bell. Mike graduated from Oakfield High School and studied at Lakeland University. He got an early start in the restaurant business with the family owned Wild Goose Inn Supper Club. His family owned and operated the restaurant for 38 years, where Mike played a big role in its many years of success. After the Wild Goose Inn, Mike continued having many more years of good fortune owning and operating several different places. He was in food service his whole life, later becoming a Food Service Associate for Waukesha Foods, Becker Meats, and Harvest Meat Company. Mike loved the time he got to spend with his daughter and his two nephews. He was a big Packer and Brewer fan, which he was able to attend many Brewer spring training games while living in Arizona for 10 years.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Bryanna Bell of Slinger; one brother, Daniel (Dawn) Bell of Campbellsport; two nephews, Dustin Bell of Wauwatosa and Jim Bell of Ripon; two great nephews, Carter and Laken Bell; and his step sisters and brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at Oak Central in Oakfield on Saturday, January 5, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Please attend, he would love for you all to be there.
Mike’s family and friends extend a special thank you to Tom and Kim Adelmeyer and Bob Huck for all the care and support they gave him through his difficult time. Also, the family thanks his very special friend, Vicki Schelter-Steinhardt (“Lil” Sis) and his step sister, Patty McBride.
