Michael V. Dobbs

Michael V. Dobbs, 60, of Lomira, died peacefully after a battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 13, 1954 in Fond du Lac, the son of Vernon and Doris Piontek Dobbs. He was a graduate of North Fond du Lac High School Class of 1972. On November 19, 1977 he married Colleen Dorn in Fond du Lac. Michael served in the U.S. Air Force and was later employed with the Federal Aviation Administration as a radar technician and retired in January of 2010. He was a member of Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie # 270 F.O.E. and played in their dart ball league. Michael enjoyed biking, dart ball, bird watching, camping and especially loved being with his grandchildren.



He is survived by his wife, Colleen; three children, Joshua (Jessica) Dobbs of Waupun, Nathan Dobbs of North Fond du Lac, and Jennifer Dobbs of Fond du Lac; two grandchildren, Corey Allen and Jack Aaron; seven siblings, Charlene, Fond du Lac, Patrick (Lori), North Fond du Lac, Terry, Fond du Lac, Christina, North Fond du Lac ,Linda, Fond du Lac, Nicole, Appleton and Robert, Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents.



VISITATION: The visitation will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: The memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Gunn officiating. Cremation has taken place.
