Michele Ann Krahn

Michele “Shelly” Ann (Rait) Krahn, 47, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. Shelly won many battles, but lost the war after 3 years of fighting cancer. Shelly was born July 13, 1967 in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of Tom Rait and Joan (Blatz) Rait. She graduated from Goodrich High School Class of 1985. Shelly loved life, loved her job at Salem United Methodist Church, and loved her family and friends.



Shelly is survived by her mother, Joan Rait and Don (Smitty) Schmidt of Fond du Lac, WI; her father, Tom and Deb Rait of Phillips, WI; her sister, Sherri and Jeff Bucher of Fond du Lac; her nieces, Tori (Mark), Emily (Brian), Megan, and Katie Bucher; her maternal grandmother, Bernadette Blatz of Fond du lac; her paternal grandmother, Doris Rait of Phillips; and so many other family and friends.



The visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.

The Memorial Service to celebrate Shelly’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Beaton. Private burial will take place in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.



The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Jones and the staff at Agnesian Cancer Center and the Agnesian Hospice staff; she couldn’t have fought the fight so well without your help.
