Mildred A. "Milly" Martin

Mildred A. "Milly" Martin, age 90, of W975 Hickory Rd, St. Cloud, died Monday, August 07, 2006 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on November 16, 1915 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Frank J. and Francis (Bord) Benedict. On August 26, 1939 she married Leonard Howard Martin at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1985. Milly worked at Wells Manufacturing. She also managed This and That Craft store in the Fond du Lac Senior Center for seven years. She was a member of St. Paul's UCC in Malone. She enjoyed embroidering, knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and reading.SURVIVORS: her children, Richard (Dr. Gayle) Martin of St. Cloud, Suzanne (James) Zopolos of Merced, CA, Mike Martin of St. Cloud, Leonard Jr. (Susan) Martin of Black Creek, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two sisters in law, Vivian Haynes of Oshkosh, Marge Benedict of Fond du Lac, and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard, three brothers, Leo, Alfred, and Frank, and two sisters, Florine and Marie.



VISITATION: Wednesday, August 9, 2006 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul's UCC in Malone. FUNERAL: Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul's UCC in Malone with the Reverend Keith R. Weiland officiating. Entombment will take place on Thursday at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Paul's UCC or to Hospice Hope or to Hospice Home of Hope. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
