Mildred A. Osborn

Mildred A. Osborn, 87 of Fond du Lac and a resident of the St. Francis Home died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the home. She was born on October 31, 1919 in Grand Island, Nebraska the daughter of George and Anna Lefeber Jurgensmier. On July 12, 1939 she married Walter Kraus at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg. Walter died on July 6, 1964. She later married Gilbert Osborn on August 1, 1970 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. Gilbert preceded her in death on June 16, 1988. Mildred was a member of Holy Family Parish. She was a long-time member of St. Patrick's Church, its Altar & Rosary Society, and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Mildred did domestic cleaning in the Fond du Lac area. She enjoyed playing cards and dancing.SURVIVORS: She is survived by two sons, Vern (Special friend Jan Henderson) Kraus, Kenosha, and Donald (Christine) Kraus, Lompoc, California, four grandchildren, Wendy and Kari Kraus, Denise Knapp and Janine Kraus, six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Shelby, Alina , Wyatt, and Finley. She is further survived by a sister, Vi Emerich, Fond du Lac and her God Daughter, Rose Ann "Tody" Mand-Kinderman, St. Peter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers, and sisters.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at St. Francis Home Chapel from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at the St. Francis Home Chapel with Reverend Edward Sippel officiating. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to the St. Francis Home Employee's Fund or Hospice Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
