Mildred H. "Millie" Zwicky

Mildred "Millie" H. Zwicky, 68 of Fond du Lac died Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born in Newcomerstown, Ohio on August 22, 1943 the daughter of Frank and Daisy Roop Compton. On April 14, 1962 she married Richard E. Zwicky in Illinois.Richard preceded her in death on May 6, 1999. Mildred worked at Wells Manufacturing for over 25 years and Mercury Marine for 12 years retiring in 2008.After her retirement she worked at J.C. Penny's part-time up to the time of her illness. She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oakfield. Mildred enjoyed shopping and her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: Mildred is survived by two daughters; Lorie (James) Gregor, Fond du Lac and Jacqueline (David) Ballwanz, Omro, three grandchildren; Chelsey (Justin) Zahn, Makena Myers, and Kayla Ballwanz, three step-grandchildren; Amy (Adan) Medina, Amanda and Amber Gregor, one step-great grandson Mateo Medina. Mildred is further survived by six sisters; Marilyn "Merle" Schwartz, Fond du Lac, Geneva (Frank) Holton, Orlando, FL, Donna (John) Simmons, New Port Richey, FL, Irene Nietman, Kissimmee, FL, Margie (Bobby) Bellamy, Jeffersonville, KY, Leona Forester, Searcy, ARK, three sister-in-law Susie (Harold) Pinno, Fond du Lac, Verjean Zwicky, Van Dyne, Darlene Zwicky, Pickett, two brother-in-laws; Daniel (Linda) Zwicky, Fond du Lac ,Gene (Judy) Zwicky, Fond du Lac, nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Arnold, two brother-in-laws, Roger and Lee Zwicky and a sister-in-law Judith Hebert.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 200 PM to 5:00 PM at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oakfield. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 5:00 PM at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Reverend Christopher Goelzer will officiate. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society or Huntington's chorea.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
