Mildred Neely Kincannon

Mildred Neely Kincannon, 83, a resident of Christian Homestead, Waupun for over three years, died there on Wednesday, February 9, 2005. She was born February 28, 1921, in Duplex, TX, a daughter of Drew and Eva Sharp Neely. On June 7, 1941, she married Jack F. Kincannon in Bonham, TX. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1991. She and her husband moved to Chicago from Texas and lived there from 1956 to 1980. She later moved to Dallas, splitting her time between Chicago and Dallas from 1991 to 2001. In 2001, she moved to Waupun. Mrs. Kincannon was a member of the 4th Presbyterian Church while living in Chicago.Surviving is a daughter, Judith Kincannon of Fond du Lac and Dallas, two sisters, Drew Eva Walker of Paris, TX, and Margaret (Harold) Finley of Sherman, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, including Rick (Cari) Duncan, Ron (Karen) Duncan, Becky Duncan (Jim) Gozdowski, Charles and Jim Duncan, Mary Evelyn Wittsett, great nieces and nephews, Cynthia Wood, Katie (Fiancé' Jason Frazer) Duncan, Dan (Jennifer) Duncan, Ron (Sabrina) Duncan, Jennifer (Greg) Gozdowski Brown, and Jill Gozdowski, other relatives and very special friends, including Anne Nikolaou, Gay Frazer, Mary Hauser, and Elaine Boe. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Paul and John Neely, and two sisters, Glenna and Virginia Duncan.



Visitation for Mrs. Mildred Neely Kincannon will be on Sunday, February 13, 2005, from 3 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2005, in Dallas, TX at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225. The Rev. Tom C. Rook will officiate and burial will be in Sparkman/Hillcrest Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Mrs. Kincannon's name.
