Miles D. "Mox" Schessow

Miles D. Schessow, 82, of Fond du Lac, went to be reunited with his cherished family and to share a great joke in Heaven on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born November 26, 1927 in Beaver Dam, WI, the son of Max and Sylvia Smith Schessow. On August 14, 1948 he married Constance E. Kleveno in Oshkosh, and she preceded him in death in 1994. Miles was a 1947 graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School. He worked for the Milwaukee Road Rail Road for over 40 years, retiring in the 1980's. Miles was a member of the Lighthouse Anglers, Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie 270, Walleyes for Tomorrow, Taylor Park U., and a life member of the North American Fishing and Hunting Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling to gamble.Miles is lovingly survived by his daughter, Tracy (Joyce Kubash) Schessow, Milwaukee; proud grandpa of, Mark (Lois) Schessow, Scott Schessow, Angie (Sheldon) Diener, Jordana (Nate) Hefter, Capt. Carissa Schessow, US Army, Alexandria Schessow, David Schessow, Jr.; fond great grandpa of, Jake, Desirae, Jimmie, Ben, Elijah and Ben. He is further survived by his special friend, Ruth Dreher; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Constance; sons, John in 1981, Rick in 1990, David in 2009; daughter, Alana Diener in 2006; grandson, Daniel Diener in 2001; sister, Charolette Franklin.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 7 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and burial will be held in Rienzi Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
