Monica M. Smith

Monica Mary Smith, age 46, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday July 26, 2007 at St. Luke's Lutheran Memorial Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born the daughter of Edwin and Dolores Schmidt Smith on July 2, 1961 in Fond du Lac. Monica enjoyed listening to music, going to movies, going out to eat, and drinking cappuccino. She loved little children, animals, and was very social, making friendships with everyone she met. Monica had a sense of humor that affected everyone around her. She was compassionate, uncomplaining, and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.Survivors include: her parents, Edwin and Dolores Smith of Fond du Lac, five sisters, Christine (Neil) Drake of Mequon, Paula (Alan) Jackowski of Rosendale, Angela (Dan) Dowland of Fond du Lac, Karen Arthurs of New Market, AL, Julie (Andrew) Detloff of N. Fond du Lac; two brothers, Timothy Smith of Milwaukee and Neil (Marina) Smith of Elm Grove. Her maternal and paternal grandparents, two brothers, Mark and Thomas and one nephew, Nicholas, preceded her in death.



Private family Memorial Services will be held on Monday July 30, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation will follow services. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Additional information and guestbook may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
