Nadine A. Munson

Nadine A. Munson, 87, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Maple Meadows in Fond du Lac. She was born on October 26, 1935, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Charles E. and Olive B. (Jung) Edkins. On September 25, 1954, she married Robert M. Munson in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2013. Nadine worked at Edith’s Bridal, Econo Laundry, and Johnson and Nichols bus services for many years until retiring in 2001. Nadine was involved in the Marquis Drum and Bugle Corps and was a Cub Scout den mother. She enjoyed camping and cooking, no one left Nadine’s table hungry. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren watching many of their sporting and music events.

She is survived by four children, Danny (Annie) Munson, Diane Munson, David “Tuffy” (Kathy) Munson, and Don Munson; 6 grandchildren, Devin (Marjorie) Munson, Kellyn (special friend, Jason) Munson, Haley (Ryan) Whitinger, Weston (Keshia) Munson, Samuel (Mallorie) Munson, and Lloyd Munson; nine great grandchildren, Theo, Alyx, Roslyn, Dane, Grace, Levi, Bree, Barrett, and Blake; two nieces, Raelene and Mickey; nephew, Ricky; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Olive; husband, Robert; son, Charles; father and mother-in-law, Fabian and Vopel Munson; and sister, Katie (Ray) Wuest.

The visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
