Nancie N. Grabau, 70, of 437 North Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, died Monday, June 16, 2008 at her residence. She was born the daughter of Stephen and Grace Johnson Bruley on December 26, 1937 in Clintonville, WI. On October 1, 1960 she married Melvin W. Immel at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on June 25, 1968. On August 21, 1971 Nancie married Charles J. Grabau at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church. She worked at St. Agnes Hospital as an LPN and also in the bakery at Copps Grocery Store. Nancie was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, playing cards, and spending time at the cabin. She was also an excellent cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: her husband, Charles Grabau; four children, Steve (Abby) Immel, Fond du Lac, Thomas (Barbara) Immel, Malone, Susan (Special Friend, Dennis) Immel, Rhinelander, Andrew (Cindy) Immel, Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren, Tony (Cathy) Immel, Matt (Special Friend, Rachel) Immel, Stevie Lea Immel, Seth, Zach and Nick Immel, Kathlen (Bill) Stuewer, Wesley and Audrey Immel; two great grandchildren, Brianna and Caleb Immel; two sisters, Gloria (Robert) Ferdinand, Fond du Lac, Judy (Marvin) Fellman, MN; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Melvin Immel; one son, James Grabau; one brother, Steven Bruley.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday from 9 "“ 10 AM at the church. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, June 20, 2008 at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Zuberbier officiating.
