Nancy I. Green

Nancy I. Green, 83, passed away from congestive heart failure, Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born September 24, 1934 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Walter Sr. and Bernice Eckert. On May 16, 1960 she married Albert Harry Green. On their 56 wedding anniversary in 2016, her brother, Walter Richard Eckert, Jr. passed away, he was 90 years old. In her younger days Nancy loved to work in the yard and take care of all her flowers. As she got older her interests were playing Bingo and penny machines at the casinos.



She is survived by her husband, Albert; three children, David (Christine) Miller of North Fond du Lac, Crystal (Jeffery) Marks of Hustisford, and Kerry (Dwight) Hoekstra of Brandon; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Walter.



At Nancy’s request there will be no visitation or services. Memorials can be directed to the Fond du Lac Humane Society.



The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Hospice Home of Hope for their care and compassion. Thank you to my husband and daughters for taking good care of me, it wasn’t easy.
