Nancy Catherine Singer

Nancy Catherine Singer (nee Ries), 73, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Nancy was born on October 21, 1951, in Fond du Lac. A 1969 LP Goodrich High School graduate, she dedicated her life to serving her community through real estate. Known for her strong work ethic, she served as broker/owner of RE/MAX Millennium and, later, Singer Real Estate for over 40 years, touching countless lives throughout her career.

Nancy married Steven Singer on July 30, 1971, who preceded her in death. She later found love again and married David Maret on September 11, 2009. Together with David, she fulfilled her passion for travel, exploring the world and creating countless cherished memories along the way.

In her home life, Nancy had a special talent for making every season magical, decorating her house for each holiday with creative flair and enthusiasm. She loved beagles, welcoming many into her life over the years. Known for her green thumb, Nancy created breathtaking gardens that could rival those found in magazines. She was an excellent cook who loved experimenting with new recipes, constantly seeking inspiration from magazines and the internet.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Winters; parents, Virginia and Raymond Ries; and husband, Steven Singer.

She is survived by her beloved husband, David; daughter, Melissa and her husband Kelly; son, Michael; stepdaughter, Kim and her husband Dwayne; five cherished grandchildren: Madeline, Meredith, Hunter, Amelia, and Cecily; and her siblings. Nancy shared a special bond with Dave's oldest grandson, Mike.

Per Nancy’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to SSM Health Hospice Home of Hope in Nancy's name.
