Neal R. Soll

Neal R. Soll, 85, of North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Touchstone Living Center. He was born February 2, 1937 in Fond du Lac, the son of Leo and Evelyn (Gfrorer) Soll. Neal graduated from St. Mary Springs High School and UW Oshkosh. He married Betty Klein on July 14, 1956 in Fond du Lac and she preceded him in death. Neal was an accountant and office manager for Bestt Rollr until his retirement. He was a past member of Eagles Aerie #270. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, going to the family cottage, family trips, and doing taxes.

He is survived by his two sons, Mike (Paula Veith-Soll) Soll of Oshkosh and James (Karen) Soll of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Andrew (Megan) Soll, Adam Soll, Erica Soll, and Brian Soll; three step grandchildren, Bryan Balda, Christa Veith, and Zach (Erin) Veith; eleven great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Betty.

The visitation will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment will be held in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
