Neva E. Franke

NEVA E. FRANKENeva E. Franke, age 90 of N5827 County Road Y, Town of Lamartine, died Sunday, September 12,2004 at her residence. She was born on November 15,1913 in Eldorado the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Miller Priepke . On October 28,1938 she married Roland "Rollie" E. Franke at Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran in Fond du Lac. She was a graduate of Rosendale High School. Neva and her husband owned and operated Rollie's Bar in Lamartine from 1946-52. She also worked at the Rosendale Canning Factory and helped her husband with their dairy farm. She was an active member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Rogersville and also was a member of VFW Post 8092 of Oakfield Auxiliary and the Lamartine Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Neva enjoyed bowling, gardening, sewing and deeply loved making quilts for the church.SURVIVORS: sister-in-law, Ann Priepke, Fond du Lac, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, and one brother.



VISITATION: Wednesday, September 15,2004 from 9:00 "“11:00 A.M. at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Rogersville. FUNERAL: Wednesday, September 15,2004 at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church with Reverend Kimberly Stowell officiating. Burial will follow in Rogersville Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
