Nicolas Elizalde

Nicolas Elizalde Jr, age 72, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at ManorCare Health Services. He was born on July 8, 1939 in Laredo, TX, the son of Nicolas and Lorenza (Salinas) Elizalde Sr. Nick was formerly married to Ruth (King) Elizalde. He worked at Friday Canning Company in Oakfield for over thirty-seven years as a forklift operator. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to watch softball games at Lakeside Park. Nick also loved going to antique car shows.SURVIVORS: three children, Lisa (Bruce) Abrahamzon of Fond du Lac, Carol (Dan) Sabel of Fond du Lac, Roberto Elizalde of Fond du Lac, five grandchildren, April Richter (Friend Mike Herrmann), Susan (Tony) Mand, Lucas (Sara) Sabel, Brandon Abrahamzon, Matt Abrahamzon, four great-grandchildren, Ella, Jayda, Ava, and Alex, sister, Eliza (Humberto) Guerrero of TX, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one half-brother, Juan Flores, one half-sister, Beatris Flores.



VISITATION: Thursday, December 29, 2011, from 3-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Ricardo Munoz officiating.
