Norman W. Koenigs

Norman W. Koenigs, age 81, of 350 Winnebago St., North Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He was born on December 10, 1922 the son of Nicholas and Rose Rieden Koenigs. On June 9, 1972 he married Helen J. Olig in Slinger, WI. He was a custodian for the Fond du Lac School system for over thirty years. Norm was a jack-of-all-trades including plumbing, cabinetmaking, and an electrician. He served in the United States Army serving in the Korean War. SURVIVORS: his wife Helen Koenigs of North Fond du Lac, three stepchildren, Sharon Gehrmann of Green Bay, James Brown of Fond du Lac, Dan Brown of Francis Creek, WI, six step-grandchildren, Jeremy Brown, Jamie Brown, Troy, Chris, Jeffrey, and Joe Brown, one step-great-grandchild, one sister, Gladys Flood of Oakfield, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his half sister Caroline Freund.



Private family visitation and services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum with the Reverend Edward Sippel officiating. Entombment will follow.
