Orin A. Bauernfeind

Orin A. Bauernfeind, age 87, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. He was born on February 10, 1930. Orin served in the United States Army in the Korean War. On July 11, 1970 he married Dorothy Peltzer in Illinois. Orin worked at Mercury Marine for thirty-eight years until retiring.



Survivors include his wife Dorothy of Fond du Lac; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard (Janice) Peltzer of Waukesha, Robert Peltzer of Burlington, and Laura (Mark) Deckert of Sheboygan; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and one sister.



Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 2-3 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A memorial service will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
