Orville V. Snyder, age 74, of Neshkoro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin. He was born on July 27, 1942 in Fond du Lac, the son of Luther and Leveda (Green) Snyder. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School and served in the United States Army. He was married to Louise Blum for many years. Orville dedicated his work life to Eden Stone for over forty years. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Packers and Brewers. Orville also was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Anyone that knew Orville knew he was a very kind, caring, generous, and humble man and would give them the shirt off his back if he could.
Survivors include three children, Peggy (fiancé Peter Albertz) Snyder of Fond du Lac, Patrick (Lisa) Snyder of Edgar, WI, and Brenda (Don) Brozek of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Alec Madeline (Kerry) McCommas, Ashley Kimpton, Brittany Snyder; three great-grandchildren, Jaihmin, Tripp, and Kaiya; three sisters-in-law, Luella Snyder, Shirley Snyder, and Joyce Snyder all of Fond du Lac; special friend, Doreen LeQue of Neshkoro. He was preceded in death by his parents; nine brothers, William, Melvin, Elmer, Harland, Floyd, Luther Jr, Leon, Harvey, and Albert; two sisters, Florence (Victor) Hoerth, and Audrey (George) Krug.
A visitation with Orville’s family to celebrate his life will take place on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Cremation has taken place.
