Oscar J. Thome

Oscar J. Thome Oscar J. Thome, 89, formerly of Johnsburg and currently a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home died Monday, January 03, 2005 at the home. Oscar was born March 16, 1915 in Johnsburg, a son of Steve and Margaret Koenigs Thome. On February 12, 1945 he married Estella Lefeber. Oscar farmed in the Johnsburg area and worked at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for many years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish in Johnsburg. Survivors include one son; Marvin Thome of Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers and two sisters



Visitation for Mr. Oscar Thome will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2004 from 10-11 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated January 6, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with the Rev. Joseph Coerber officiating. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
