Patricia A. "Patti" Groesbeck

Patricia A. “Patti” Groesbeck, 71, of Fond du Lac, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, at her home with family by her side. She was born in Fond du Lac, WI on October 30, 1950, the daughter of Clayton and Elaine (Bauman) Schroeder. On April 6, 1974, she married Stephen J. Groesbeck at St. Joseph’s Church, and together they had four children. Patti was a 1969 graduate of L.P. Goodrich High School. She then went on to be a CNA for 25 years.



Later in life, she went on to work for the Fond du Lac YMCA, where she enjoyed all the friendly members and staff she got to see on a daily basis. She especially enjoyed all the kids in childcare. They would always refer to her as “Pattykins” or “Ms. Patti.” Patti enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. She also enjoyed going out to dinner with family and friends.



She is survived by her husband, Stephen of Fond du Lac; three children, Chris (Dawn) Groesbeck, Jim Groesbeck, and Katie (Jason) Tetzlaff, all of Fond du Lac; two grandsons, Austin and Sawyer Tetzlaff. She is further survived by her three step-siblings, Robin, Mark and Fay; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; adoptive father, Robert Parish; son, Stephen Jr.; grandson, Carter Tetzlaff; sister, Kathryn McIntosh; and stepsister, Lynn.



The visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 3-5 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow the visitation at 5 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
