Patricia A. Pratt, 82, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born March 19, 1931, in Portage, the daughter of Carl and Ruth Schefelbein Roecker. She graduated from Portage High School. On June 27, 1953, she married Francis C. Pratt in Portage. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2000. Before her retirement in 2010, Patricia was employed for 44 years by H.C. Prange Co. and Younkers. She was a member of the Church of Peace. Pat had a passion for shopping, spending time with her kids, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and enjoyed special family gatherings. Surviving is a daughter, Debra (Dean) Kaiser of Fond du Lac, a son, David (Linda) Pratt, also of Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, Keith (Carla Smith) Kaiser and Kelly Kaiser of Fond du Lac, Kimberly Kaiser of Brandon, Ryan (Heidi) Blaine of Fond du Lac, Aaron Blaine of Oshkosh, Kyle Blaine of Fond du Lac, and Joshua (Becky) Pratt of Pulaski, WI. She is further survived by nine great-grandchildren, Hailee, Peyton, Carson, Jackson, McKayla, Grayson, Lydia, Nolan, and Talyn, her son-in-law, Michael Blaine of Fond du Lac, a sister, Linda Fischer of Portage, a brother-n-law, Donald Schumann of Portage, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Diane Blaine, a great-grandson, Dominic, and three sisters, Mary Roecker, Elaine Schumann, and Nancy Rohrbeck-Engstrom.
Visitation for Patricia A. Pratt will be on Saturday, February 22, 2014, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Church of Peace, 158 S. Military Road, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 12 PM at the church on Saturday. The Revs. James F.D. Martin and Jennifer C.M. Dawson will officiate and entombment will follow at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Pat's name.
