PATRICIA 'Patty' E. NEWTON Patricia 'Patty' E. Newton, age 53, ofW7190 Kenyon Rd, Oakfield, died Saturday, October 2,2004 at her residence with her family surrounding her after an eight-year battle with cancer. She was born on January 27, 1951 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Clifford A. and Eunice M. Kahlhamer Hobbs. On October 25,1969 she married Ken Newton at Sacred Heart Church, Fond du Lac. On October 25 they would have been married 35 years. She was employed with Rolling Meadows Nursing Home for many years and was still employed with Fond du Lac County Home Health. She also enjoyed caring for her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting which is what led to her starting her craft business ~onshine Crafts & Gifts in 1999. She also enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She was a member of Edgewood Community Church in Waupun'for approximately five years. She loved her church family and served in many of the church's ministries. SURVIVORS: her husband Ken of Oakfield, three children, Jay (Sanlantha) Newton of Oakfield, Mitch (Amy) Newton of Waupun, Alicia (Chad) Meinburg of Oakfield, grandchildren, Shaina, Jacob and Sydney Newton, Hunter, McKenna, and Carter Newton and Marissa and Kya Meinburg, one sister, Marlea Hobbs of Oakfield, one dear aunt, Janet Kahlhanler of Waupun, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one infant brother .



VISITATION: Tuesday, October 5,2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Edgewood Community Church, 201 Edgewood Drive, Waupun, WI 53963. FUNERAL: Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 11 :00 A.M. at Edgewood Community Church with the Reverend Roger Knowlton officiating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery, Waupun. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family
