Patricia J. Fischer

Patricia J. Fischer, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Woodlands Senior Park. She was born in Fond du Lac on August 21, 1930, to George and Lydia (Ruch) Aschenbrenner. On February 19, 1955, Patricia married Donald “Hep” Fischer. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1978.



Patricia’s grandchildren were her life. She loved them all unconditionally and would do anything for them. Patricia’s home was always open to any of them at any time. She was a lifelong member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Patricia enjoyed bowling all her life, participating in senior leagues into her 80’s. She was an excellent seamstress. Patricia created apparel and provided alterations for herself, family, and friends, including many wedding parties and Halloween costumes. She could make or fix anything you brought her. Patricia worked at National Exchange Bank and Trust (NEBAT) for thirty-five years, retiring in 1994.



Survivors include her two daughters, Debra (Gary) Berndt and Linda (James) Danor; nine grandchildren, Erin (Jeff) Keifenheim, Kelly Berndt, Lindsey Schroeder, Shannon (Jake) Vogds, Nathan Williams, Jared Williams, Megan (Andy) Soll, Danielle (David) Curti, and Michael (Lakia) Danor; twenty-one great-grandchildren, Emma, Haile, and Lacey Keifenheim, Micah, Paige, and Gabby Jebron, Ezra and Trinity Ingram, Owen Paulson, Ellie, Cora, and Cole Schroeder, Jack and Kate Vogds, Ciel and Caeleb Williams, Liam, Madelyn, and Henry Soll, Anderson Curti, and Emersyn Danor. She is further survived by her brother, Roger (Helen) Aschenbrenner; and sister, Carol (Jerry) Pierce. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Bill Williams; brother, Harvey Aschenbrenner; sister, Dorothy Burke; and sister-in-law, Beverly Batura.



Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will held at 4:00 PM with Pastor James Borgwardt officiating. A private committal service followed by entombment in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery, will be held Friday, May 27, 2022.
