Patricia J. Ford

Patricia J. Ford, 88, of North Fond du Lac, died Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Touchstone Living Center. She was born in Fond du Lac on August 30, 1928, a daughter of Herbert and Elanore (Dart) Scharfenberg. Patricia married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Jack Ford, in 1949. He preceded her in death in 1998.



After raising her children, Patricia went back to work at JC Penny’s catalog counter, retiring after 25 years. While retired, she and Jack traveled extensively and spent much time with their extended family.



Survivors include four sons, James (Terri) of Orland Park, Ill., John (Jodi) of Fond du Lac, Robert (Diane) of North Fond du Lac and Ronald of Milwaukee; ten grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Gerald Ford, of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents, Herbert and Elanore; a brother, Herbert; and a sister, Helen (Silas) Sindahl



Just two days before Patricia’s passing, her sister, Helen, passed. Recognizing their close relationship, the families have decided to host a celebration of both their lives beginning at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until the time of services. Cremation has taken place.



The family would like to thank the staff at Touchstone Living Center for the care and love shown to Patricia over the past three years.
