Patricia J. Neas

Patricia J. Neas, 75, of Fond du Lac, died on September 11, 2023, unexpectedly at her residence. She was born on November 30, 1947, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Walter and Ann (Midkiff) Smith. Patty was a graduate of St. Mary’s Spring High School. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.  On September 5, 1970, she married Dick Neas at St. Joesph’s Church, Fond du Lac. She worked as a CNA at St. Agnes Hospital for 40 years until she retired. Patty, and her late husband Dick, owned and operated Johnson Street Connection for over 12 years. She liked traveling, Sunday dinners, baking, and was a lover of cats. Her greatest love was for her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Neil) Spranger and Bridget (Craig) Zangl; nephew/son, Doran McArthur; five grandchildren, Samual (Hannah) and Spenser Spranger, and Jake, Morgan and Zac Zangl; a great grandbaby on the way; special friends, Carol Bacon and Sue Guariglia; brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick; sister; brother-in-law; and sister-in-law.

The visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 10 AM – 12 PM at Scared Heart Church, Holy Family Parish, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at church at 12 PM. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.

She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mom, and a very treasured grandma.
