Patricia A. "Pat" Sabel

Patricia A. “Pat” Sabel, 75, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, February 10, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born in Fond du Lac on March 2, 1949, to Elmer and Joyce (Bucholtz) Witty. On January 5, 1982, Pat married Roger Sabel in Fond du Lac. 

Pat had a heart of gold and was willing to help anybody and everybody with anything that they may need. She enjoyed camping with Roger and loved animals and gardening. Pat loved tinkering around with various projects at home, held various jobs throughout her career, and was a lifelong resident of Fond du Lac. 

Survivors include her husband, Roger; two children, Tracy (Dennis) Buechel, and Michael (Amanda) Shady; six grandchildren, Jakob, Anika, Meganne (Ben), Madisanne, Zachary, and Alisanne; three siblings, David (Sue) Witty, Terry Witty, and Cathy Witty; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Pie. 

In memory of Patricia, please consider planting a tree and/or helping an animal in need. 

Per the family’s request, a celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Cremation has taken place.
