Patricia L. Seibel

Patricia Louise Seibel, 77, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 following a brief stay in hospice due to heart complications. Patricia was born July 18, 1947 to Ralph and Gwen Summers in Fond du Lac. She graduated from Goodrich High School in 1965. Following graduation, she attended Fond du Lac Technical College and received her degree as an LPN. Over the next 40 years she worked at various nursing homes. In 1969 she married James Seibel at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Their daughter, Cheryl was born in 1970 followed by their son, Paul in 1974. Her childhood was spent at her grandparent's cottage on Silver Lake and she enjoyed camping, and getting her nails and hair done. She also enjoyed her trips to the casino with her best friend, Mary.

She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Cheryl (Matt) Smith; son, Paul (Melissa) Seibel; grandchildren, Bret (Sarah) Geidel, Avery (Keeley Ness) Seibel, Kassie Smith, Lillian and Madelyn Seibel; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Ashton Geidel; her sister, Grace Day; brother-in-law, Ronald (Betty) Seibel; her fur babies, Panther and Bailey; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her in laws, Oswald and Lily Seibel; grandson, Nicholas Smith; brother, Byron Summers; sister, Kathleen Bender; brothers-in-law, Raymond Day, Fred Bender, and Donald Seibel; sister-in-law, Marian Seibel; and nephew, Ralph Day. 

The visitation will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow on Thursday at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be held at a later date in Ledgeview Memorial Park.
