PAUL A. BEARDPaul A. Beard, age 76, of 273 Wilson Ave, Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at his residence. He was born on May 27, 1929 the son of William and Mae Murray Beard. On April 2, 1951 he married Joan Schepp in Rossville, GA. Paul served in the United States Air Force serving in the Pacific Theatre in World War II. He was a member of Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church where he was an usher and a greeter. He was a member of Disabled American Vets. He enjoyed ham radio and was a member of the Fond du Lac Ham Radio Club. SURVIVORS: his wife, Joan Beard of Fond du Lac, children, Deborah (Dick) Klauck of Fond du Lac, Paula Meyer of Fond du Lac, Diane Smith of Fond du Lac, Mark (Christine) Beard of Orlando, FL, six grandchildren, Tracy Ochs, Christopher Klauck, Brian Skelton, Leanne Smith, Dan Meyer, and Craig Meyer, five great-grandchildren, Nichole and Gabriel Klauck, Creighton, Andrea and Carter Ochs, one sister, Judy (Jim) Abraham of Nevada, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack Beard.



VISITATION: Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church. FUNERAL: Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverend Stuart Zak officiating. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
