Paul D. Thompson

Paul D. Thompson, age 65, of Oakfield, died Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family and loved ones. Paul was born on June 10, 1956, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Paul and Ardietta (Joslin) Thompson. Paul graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School in 1974. Paul served in the United States Army stationed in Fort Devens, MA, and lived and raised his family in Hull, MA, until moving his family to Fond du Lac in 2000.



Paul worked at Quad/Graphics and Mercury. He was a huge fan of Boston sports and following all the teams in New England. Paul was a wonderful musician and marched with the Marquis Drum and Bugle Corps. He was also color guard director for Matrix, Satin Dolls, and Satin Hearts. He loved his cats, especially his sidekick Skoshi, and his hobby was paranormal research.



Survivors include his life partner, Karen Stonebraker; his first wife and mother of his children, Paula Thompson; their children, Kaysey Thompson, Kaytlin (Mitchell) Shady, grandsons, Logan and Jack, Cody (Ashly) Thompson, granddaughters, Holly, Kayleigh, and Everlie, Christian Thompson; his mother, Ardietta Thompson; and his sister, Dana Thompson; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and son, Corey Thompson.



Visitation will take place on Monday, August 30, 2021, from 4-6 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 6:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Military honors will follow the service at the funeral home.
