Paul L. Perkins, 89, formerly of Roswell, NM and a current resident of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at his residence. He was born August 9, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for the Federal Aeronautics Association for 26 years. Paul enjoyed bowling, volunteering and loved his church.SURVIVORS: one son, Jason (Melissa) Perkins, Fond du Lac; two daughters, Vernita Perkins, California, Brenda (Kelly) Dahmer, Canada; five grandchildren, Zoe, Jevon, Kara, Hannah, and Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents.The family extends a special thank you to the enormous amount of people who have helped us through the years Paul has been here: Terry Clapper, the best mom in the world, she has been there for us whenever we needed her; Doreen Drezdon, the best friend ever, always helping when she could; Flossie Johnson, caring for Paul the last few months of his life; Jackie Lepinsky, a shoulder to cry on and helping us in a "pinch"; the staff of Agnesian Hospice for taking care of Paul; the staff of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for helping with Paul during respite and for allowing him to be a "volunteer"; the staff of the Lincoln House.



VISITATION: will be from 4:30- 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Desilet officiating.
