Paula I. Bowe

Paula I. Bowe, 95, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, December 20, 2010 at St. Francis Home, peacefully, surrounded by her daughers. She was born January 31, 1915 in Ashford, WI, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Stroebel Jaeger. On March 17, 1936 she married Frank F. Bowe at St. Louis Catholic Church and he preceded her in death in June 2005. Paula worked as a sales clerk in Fond du Lac for many years until her retirement in 1977. Paula and Frank moved to Escondido, CA until they moved back to Fond du Lac in 1997 to be close to family. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. Paula enjoyed dancing, bowling, golfing, playing bridge and gin rummy, and loved spending time with her daughters. SURVIVORS: She will be greatly missed by her five daughters, Bonnie (Bob) Ridley, Eau Claire, WI, Betty (Tony) Cobb, Cincinnati, OH, Brenda Bowe, Mequon, WI, Sheila (Les) Pottern, Denver, CO, Marsha (Mike) Reilley, Fond du Lac; 13 grandchildren, Lori, Mary Beth, Judy, Lisa, Dan, Susan, Amy, Jennifer, Michael, Stacy, Eric, Shawna, Casey; 29 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Paige, Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; 11 siblings; one great granddaughter



A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with inurnment in Rienzi Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.The family would like to thank the loving staff of St. Francis Home for their wonderful care given to their mother and to Judy Pierner of Personal Touch for making mom's life more beautiful with weekly gifts of flowers.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
