Peter C. Radlund, 90, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, September 19, 2022. He was born on January 1, 1932, in Chicago, IL, the son of John and Lulu (Jackson) Radlund Jr. on June 12, 1954, he married Marjorie Kyle in Prairie du Sac, WI. Peter received his bachelor’s degree in business from UW-Madison. Peter served in the US Army from 1954-1956. He was an associate warden in the State of Wisconsin Corrections system until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and involved with many youth activities there as well as, and most notably, Sing Out Fond du Lac and PII. Peter was a Boy Scout Troop leader while his children participated in scouts. After retirement he and his wife operated a small craft business called Marge’s Doll Fashions and he was an avid car collector. Most everyone will remember Peter for his unique sense of humor. He is survived by two sons, John (Cindy) Radlund of Syracuse UT, and Paul Radlund of Fond du Lac; daughter, Aleta (Scott) Tweedale of Byron; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie; brother, Jack; daughter-in-law, Desirae Radlund; and grandson Randy Radlund.
A memorial service has been planned for Saturday, October 15th at 10 am at the First Presbyterian Church of Fond du Lac, 1225 Fourth Street, Fond du Lac.
