Peter Manos

Peter Manos,74 a resident of Fond du Lac, died Saturday ,July 22,2006 at the Hospice Home of Hope. He was born July 11,1932 in Green Bay the son of Daniel and Maria Matsakas Manos. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in the Korean War. Peter worked at Burke Company, ran concession stands at Taylor and Lakeside Park. He loved animals, sports, Big Band music and at one time played minor league baseball.Survivors are two daughters, Christine (Frank) Devine, Fond du Lac, and Julie (Steven) Witthun, Waupun, three grandchildren, Malena Nicolosi, Adam and McKenna Witthun, one brother, Angelo (Deanna) Manos, Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Theodore"Ted"Manos.



Graveside inurnment services will be held at 3:30 P.M., Thursday, July 27,2006 at Rienzi Cemetery. The Trier-Puddy American Legion Post No. 75 will conduct military graveside inurnment services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
