Peter W. Hermanns

Peter W. Hermanns, 61, of N 8178 Sunset Dr. in St. Peter died Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee. Peter was born April 8, 1943 in Fond du Lac, a son of Herman and Alma Laudolff Hermanns. On July 20, 1963 he married Rosie Freund at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg. Peter worked as a bricklayer for C.D. Smith for many years. Peter was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Peter Church, Eagles Aerie #270, and the Bricklayers Union. Peter was an avid golfer, enjoyed sports, and loved to play cards. He also loved playing with his three grandchildren. Survivors include his wife; Rosie of St. Peter, three daughters; Lynne (special friend William Franz) of Milwaukee, Kris Hermanns of Providence, RI, Sharon Hermanns (Sumner Farren III) of Oak Park, IL, proud "Papa" of three grandchildren; Magdalene "Maggie" Farren, William "Will" Farren, Isabel "Izzy" Farren all of Oak Park, IL, one sister; Mary Ann Goebel of Johnsburg, one brother; Rev. Mel Hermanns of Chicago, one sister-in-law; Faye Hermanns of Malone, his father-in-law; Gregor Freund of Fond du Lac, and two godchildren; Doug Goebel and Richard Hermanns. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Frank and Joseph Hermanns, and one sister; Theresa.



Visitation for Mr. Hermanns will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday, November 12, 2004 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Parish-St. Peter's Church with the Rev. Mel Hermanns, pastor of Our Lady Gate of Heaven Parish in Chicago officiating. Cremation will follow traditional services with burial of cremated remains in St. Peter Parish Cemetery.Memorials in Peter's name may be directed to St. Luke's Cardiac Unit or the American Heart Association. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Anita Arnold, the staff of St. Lukes' Cardiac Center, St. Agnes ICU staff, and Dr. Joel Lundberg.
