Phyllis A. Schneider

Phyllis A. Schneider, 72, of the Town of Taycheedah, died Monday, December 20, 2010, at her residence. She was born July 2, 1938, in Green Bay, the daughter of Bernard and Agnes Mitten VanEnkenvort. On October 4, 1958, she married William F. Schneider in West DePere after which she and her husband moved to Fond du Lac. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Peter Church. Phyllis was formerly employed by Mercury Marine in the manufacturing division for 25 years, retiring in 2006. Phyllis enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, and attending her grandchildren's sports activities. Surviving is her husband, Bill, two sons, William J. (JoAnn) Schneider of Malone, and Wayne (Laura) Schneider of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Vicki Freund of Johnsburg, and seven grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Sue Van Enkenvort of DePere, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sandra Ann and her brother, Jack Van Enkenvort.



Visitation for Phyllis A. Schneider will be on Wednesday, December 22, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Thursday, December 23rd at St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, County Trunk WH, St. Peter from 10 to 11 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Thursday at the church. Cremation will follow traditional services. Inurnment of cremated remains will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
