Phyllis J. Nutter

Phyllis J. Nutter, 86, formerly of 294 E. 11th Street, and a resident of Manor Care Nursing Home since June of 2006, died there on Monday, February 19, 2007. She was born January 1, 1921, in Boone, IA, the daughter of William J. and Fannie Pool Shank. On April 4, 1943, she married Richard S. Nutter in Fond du Lac at the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Nutter was a graduate of Goodrich High School and attended the Fond du Lac Business School for two years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Phyllis was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for ten years by O'Brien Dry Goods Store, retiring in 1967. During her youth, she enjoyed bowling and tennis. Surviving is her husband, Richard, a grandson and two great-grandchildren, all of Fond du Lac, several nieces and nephews, including June (Don) Mielkie of Fond du Lac. Her parents, a son, Richard, three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.



There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place with inurnment in the Shrine of Rest, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
