Phyllis M. Bauer Johnson Eriksen

Phyllis M. Eriksen, 92 of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 26, 1923 in Clark County, the daughter of Paul and Lorene Hubing Bauer. Phyllis married Robert Ames Johnson on December 1, 1942 and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1981. On March 16, 1991 she married Richard Eriksen and he preceded her in death on December 26, 2011. Phyllis worked for Wells Manufacturing retiring in 1977. After retirement she moved to McAllen, Texas and lived there until moving back to Fond du Lac in 2011. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church and Holy Family Parish. Phyllis was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother.



She is survived by four children, Nancy (Allen) Ostdiek of Lawrence, NE, Duane (Mary Jo Keating) Johnson of Fond du Lac, Jerry (Linda) Johnson of Fond du Lac, and Ronald (Judy) Johnson of Tucson, AZ; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; three siblings, Robert (Dickie) Bauer of Loyal, Doris Braun of Marshfield, and James (Lucille) Bauer of Marshfield. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Louise Bauer of Loyal and Judy Mayenschein of Thorp; two step sons, Roger (Deb) Eriksen and Ron (Sharon) Eriksen, both of St. Paul, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; two grandchildren, Lisa Marie Ostdiek and Jamie Schwartz; three siblings, Margaret (Bernard) Rueth, Harvey Bauer, and Richard Bauer; one sister-in-law, Elaine Bauer; one step son, Richard Eriksen, Jr.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Holy Family Church. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
