Quinn Ryan Gross, age 74, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, June 12, 2023, at his residence. He was born on October 8, 1948, in Sheboygan, WI, the son of Harvey and Elaine Gross. Quinn graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School in 1967. After high school, Quinn served in the United States Army stationed in Vietnam from November 1968 until August 1969. On January 22, 1972, Quinn married Phyllis J. Lange in Fond du Lac. He worked at Mercury Marine for 39 years until retirement. Quinn was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and NASCAR fan. He also liked having his sharpened pencils ready for his word searches. He enjoyed reading and grilling. Most of all Quinn enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved very much.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; his children, Crystal (Jonathan) Portz, Ty (Pam) Gross, Justin Gross; his grandchildren, Alyssa Portz, Cody Portz, Kyle Bell, Chloe Van Hise, Natalie Gross, Ella Gross, Waylon Gross; one great-grandchild, Samaira; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A short Christian prayer service will be held at 4:00 PM, followed by military honors outside of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
