RACHEL E. (ERNEST) GRAINGERRachel E. (Ernest) Grainger age 92 of Fond du Lac died Monday, December 26,2005 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Fort Collins, CO on July 28,1913 the daughter of Jacob and Marie Sitzman Giesick. In September 1932 she married John Ernest he preceded her in death in 1943. On January 21,1949 he married Ralph Grainger he preceded her in death on January 18, 1987. Born in Colorado she has been a Fond du Lac resident since 1932. Rachel was a long time member of the Church of Peace "“United Church of Christ, and a member of the Ladies Aid and Martha Society. She was a member of Fond du Lac Eagles Auxiliary and was a past president. Rachel was a member of the Green Valley Homemakers Club. She enjoyed traveling, playing sheepshead, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.SURVIVORS: three children, Elsie (James) Kottke, Harvey (Betty) Ernest, and Robert (Cele) Ernest, all of Fond du Lac, twelve grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Bill Giesick, Los Getos, CA, Ron (Frances) Giesick, Torrington, WY, and one sister, Marie Dinas, Fort Collins, CO, Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one sister, two great-great-grandchildren.



VISITATION: Thursday, December 29,2005 from 4-8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30,2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Reverend's Sharon Stier and Dr. Martin Koehler will officiate. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
