Ralph A. Fields

Ralph A. Fields, 61, of Mt. Calvary, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at St. Agnes Hospital after suffering a stroke. He was born March 19, 1949, in Fond du Lac, the son of Vincent and Lucille (Yantz) Fields. On December 27, 1985, he married Lisa M. Peebles in Fond du Lac. Ralph was a member of Holy Family Parish. He was currently employed by Mercury Marine for 41 years. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving from 1968 to 1970. He enjoyed the outdoors, his dogs, and especially going duck hunting. Surviving is his wife, Lisa, a daughter, Courtney Fields of Mt. Calvary, his parents of Fond du Lac, three brothers, Richard (Lynda) Fields, Robert (Margaret) Fields, and Roger (Alice) Fields, all of Fond du Lac, a sister, Rebecca "Becky" (Mike) Leavitt of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He is further survived by an uncle, Daryl Fields of Mineral Point. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela, "Angie" Fields.



Visitation for Ralph A. Fields will be from 3 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home on Monday, January 10, 2011, and again on Tuesday, January 11th, from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at the funeral home. Family prayers will be at 9:45 AM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 678 Western Avenue, Fond du Lac. The Reverend Victor Capriolo will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
